September 15th Long Ride, to Swanage, on the isle of Purbeck.

We managed to catch some fabulous late summer sunshine for this long ride to the seaside, stopping of on route for a coffee break at Shillingstone Station, ( old railway station being restored by volunteers) then onwards through the picturesque village of Milton Abbas, some very challenging twisty roads past Corfe Castle, to the seaside town of Swanage, a proper old fashioned seaside town with golden sands, plus Punch & Judy on the promenade, time for a fish and chip lunch, and chat with fellow riders, 11 in total, then our return trip through some more of Dorset's fabulous roads.
