December ride to the helicopter museum in Weston-Super-Mare

20 intrepid riders braved a chilly day for a great ride to the helicopter museum in Weston-Super-Mare. Lead by Chairman Ken and ably assisted by Chris Drewitt as TEC we set off from Warminster Services and took in some lovely roads with great scenery including Burrington Combe, renamed by Les as "mini Cheddar", before all arriving successfully at the re-vamped helicopter museum. They now have a brand spanking new cafe serving a range of beverages and food, there is good parking with a large tarmac area ideal for parking bikes for those of us who are not lovers of gravel - see photo for evidence of how neatly we parked. Ken was kind enough this time to lead us back to Warminster via Cheddar Gorge and some more great roads. I apologise for not being specific as to which roads we travelled along, this is after all a WaBAM ride so getting from A to B is not going to be in a straight line! It was great to see so many Associates on this ride.
