Just discovered some nice punter stubbed a fag out in my nearside pannier. I am not amused!
It was Gill who found it as I gave her the pannier to pack for our Welsh trip. Someone had opened the pannier (or I'd left it open
) and thrown the whole stub in, lighted (it wasn't stubbed out). Somehow, it managed not to touch anything and found its way to the bottom of the case where it presumably died from lack of oxygen without touching anything else... A lesson learnt - it could have been expensive. Had it been the offside pannier, there were a few hundred quids worth of Urban Glow Jackets in there!
