'A 200 mile circular ride on scenic tarmac roads around the County boundary of Wiltshire in aid of Freewheelers’
This ride was first launched in Autumn 2021 and over 12 months more than 130 riders registered, raising more than £1700 + gift aid, in support of Freewheelers EVS.
The Challenge is a circular route of up to 200 miles which follows, on tarmac roads, the county boundary of Wiltshire. The route takes in the New Forest, Cranborne Chase, the Fosseway, the Cotswolds, the Cotswold Water Park, Lambourn Downs and the Wallops, using a mix of A, B and minor roads. The route can be ridden either clockwise or anticlockwise and participants can join & leave the route at any point of their choosing.
Riders will be able to download a gpx file of the route, a road book and a list of cafes and petrol stations along the route from the FILES section on our Facebook page and are invited to make a donation [£10suggested] to Freewheelers EVS through their website
I confirm I have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the tax year ending 5th April 2022 that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs [CASC’s] that I donate to will reclaim on my gifts for that tax year. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. I understand that the charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.
